Received an email from Aaron yesterday stating the first batch of orders would be mailed that day. He also said they were going to use a new local source for the filters. Unfortunately, my name is not on the first list for shipping. If someone else has heard anything, please let us know.

I talked to Aaron yesterday on the phone and he said the first batch would ship out yesterday and today. I'm on the list and he said I will be one of the lucky ones to get it first, but I never got the confirmation e-mail he promised. Maybe I will see something today or tomorrow. I can't wait to get it, but I'm skeptical about whether or not I will actually recieve one. We'll see...

I called Outlaw Power today and they have the no oil filters in hand and they are working their way through the backlog of people who ordered in the order they were received.

I also received a tracking number last night from UPS. Until I just read this I could not figure out what the heck it was for. My birthday was yesterday so I figured someone was sending me something. Guess I was wrong. That was a long wait, I hope it is worth it.

I got mine yesterday. One of the parts was incorrect though. Aaron warned me of this beforehand. A couple of the units that were on the priority list (the first ones who ordered) had an incorrect part. So i emailed Aaron, and my new part is on the way. Will be installing on Saturday. Out of the box, the product looks nice. It will actually look pretty OEM. Its not a real flashy unit. The filter box seems nice - reminds me of an intake I used to have on my Audi (and I loved it)....hopefully I will get the same results.

Same here. Quality and appearance look great, but now I have to wait again for the new part.

Does anyone have a picture of the tube they got that was the wrong one? I got mine last week but I finally got around to opening it today because I have been moving since last Firday. So I'm wondering what it is supposed to/not supposed to look like. TIA.

Here is a copy of the email he sent me:

"Please contact me when you receive the kit.

**Half of our batch had the hose barb located in the wrong part of the tube.
We just caught the mistake today. Luckily it only affected a few systems but
I am pretty sure they are the systems for the guys with high priority on the
sale list(you).

IF the hose barb is between the MAF location and the air filter, it is
WRONG! This will cause a CE light on most trucks.
The hose barb should be located between the MAF and the throttlebody.

IF it is wrong on your kit, contact me and I will send you a new tube. The
difference is very small but huge when it comes to the CE light coming on."
