Help! Someone Please Invent!

I always come up with weird ideas so someone can have this one:

What I would like would be for someone to come up with a way to have the top dash tray in the middle of the dashboard to lift up to reveal a hidden lockable compartment. I mean there is nothing underneath it so why not use the space somehow. Plus to have something lockable and hidden in the truck, especially here in Philly, is something I definitely need. Doesn't seem that hard to drop some type of compartment in that space, install some hinges and attach a lock and key to the tray. All I ask is for one free when its all completed.

Anyone else like this idea??

Yeah you can put alot of stuff there, like the brandmotion GPS thing, but I want a lockable compartment and no one makes one! Figured someone here can figure out a way.

I used that space for the power centers for my lightbar control centers. Plenty of room in there for that and more.

Yeah that's cool, but i'm talking about underneath the TOP dash tray, the one above the radio where you put cell phones and whatever, under that. Comes off easily.
