i dont know why it would affect emissions... mine didnt have a light come on or anything. the roush exhaust is just a modified borla system, when i got the directions it said borla industries on it. I wouldnt know about the numbers but i can honestly say i couldnt tell seat of the pants when i just had the exhuast, but with the volant and the edge its way more fun

You won't have any emissions problems. As for the power, I'm not sure you will see any improvements from just an exhaust. You would see something with an intake and exhaust, and definately would feel the difference with a tuner.

I dyno'd around 210 RWHP with the Roush off road exhaust, 22" rims/tires, and no other performance mods on a 4X4 Supercrew.

Exhaust is mainly for sound, the stock exhaust does a good job at not resticting power for as big as it is.

The problem with exhaust is people think louder is faster. So when they put on their exhaust they say "My butt dyno, felt like the truck was faster." BS, unless you did baseline and exhaust dyno runs. My bassani is a deep tone that isnt loud but carries pretty far.

I've been whistling the same tune for years.

Well said!

it wont pass emissions in CA, or high stringency states is what roush states... the off-road muffler has less packing than the legal system, and the legal tips have more sound abatement- more muffled tip..

as long as you dont remove the cats you should be fine a muffler should not change your emissions enough to matter the cat does all the emissions work

Ditto.

Why would changing a muffler change emissions??? or for that matter how.
I would understand noise pollution lol but thats BS.
I have the off-road exhaust from Roush and its awesome.

For those of you with the Roush Off-Road. How hard do you think it would be to make it fit a Reg. cab? I know they only say it is made for scab's and screw's on the site, I would imagine it would only take a quick cut of the intermediate pipe to make it work. I am waiting on a tax return then plan on getting an exhaust on my truck.

If you can't saw the pipes down and make it fit, you could have an exhaust shop do some custom bending for you and just replace what comes in the kit.
