water leak under door sill....fix?

I did search the forum for this but didn't come away with a definite answer to the problem. I have the water collecting under the plastic door sill cover on the passenger side of my 06 Scab, getting the edge of the carpet wet along with the wire trough. Did anybody else who had this problem find the solution to a fix? I know it's still under warranty but would rather not let the dealership ruin another one of my vehicles.

There were 3 different places mine was leaking. The windshield, the cowling/firewall body seam, and the big wire grommet behind the fuse panel in the passenger side kick panel. That should give you some places to start. Good luck.

If you went through any standing water, it could have seeped from underneath. The sill plates clip from underneath and the holes are not sealed.

Thanks guys, I ran the hose over the third brake light, applied a bead of RTV silicone on the clips that hold the plastic sill cover and ran the A/C to make sure I didn't see any moisture collecting. Hllon4whls, I think that was where the water was coming in from because I did go down a street with a broken water main. It seems Ford would have thought to design a better way to secure that sill cover without the possibility of water intrusion.

Double check the grommets that kd4crs mentioned... I've had an intermittent leak in that vicinity as well...

Just installed an amp tonight and found water in the door sill. I gotta check that 3rd brake light. Sometimes (very rare) my back seat gets wet... usually in a heavy down pour. This is what I hate most about my truck.
