The front 60 is high pinion? Can you give us some more info on your tcase, other than whats already stated (tranny adapter?, etc)? I've ruined my current tcase and bought another it's just sitting in the garage waiting on a service manual. I might resell that and order a monsterbox if it can be had for the right price. Just curious if you can give us a price on your unit.

I know a lot of people say not to make a 2wd truck a 4wd because of the problems, but if you were planning on doing all of this (axle swap and new t-case) it doesn't seem like their would be any additional problems over a 4wd. Anyone agree?

It isn't that difficult to turn an axle and is relatively cheap if you disassemble and reassemblel the axle yourself. The local axle guy where I live will turn an axle for about $150.00. He really wouldn't need to turn that axle because it is high pinion so just by adding some length to the upper links he should be able to get a lot better driveshaft angle and it wouldn't affect the cast and camber to bad. The truck is an awesome example that with the will and time you can do anything, oh and the MONEY...

I will tell you from experience that just a SAS with a used axle tends to run 4k if the labor is done by a fab shop. I would think realistically he has between 15-18k in the mods/labor he listed. Seriously I dont blame him though for not listing price, we all know half of you will just bust his *****.

If he paid15k-18K he overpaid
$1500.00 Used Dana 60 highpinion
$800.00 Used Dana 60 Rear and thats Steep...I see them for $200 all day long
$1000.00? BTF 4link frontend?
$2650.00 STAK T-Case
$1000.00 Hydro steering
$850.00 2" Sway Away Coilovers
$3000.00? Labor?
$10,800.00
I know this truck was built for around close to 18K-20K
Front End:
Solid axle conversion, Dana 60 reverse cut with 5.14 gear ratio and an ARB locker. 4 Link suspension with Bilstein 9100 series adjustable shocks and a rock ram steering assist with a cross-over steering kit.
Rear End:
3 link coil over suspension, Bilstein 9100 series adjustable shocks, 10.5" 14 bolt with Dana 60 Knuckles, 5.14 gear ratio and detroit locker. We also designed and installed a rear hydraulic steering system.
