Lt handles

For those with Lt handles: Did anyone actually by the Lt handles and install them or did you just by the covers with the 3m tape? Thanks

These are very common with several different brands doing the rounds. A lot cheaper, a hell of a lot easier to install and looks a million $$$

I have the Putco and couldn't be happier!

Some pics in my gallery.

The differance between the stick on's and the LT handles, is on the stick on's the whole bezel and handle are chrome. With the LT's only the handle is chrome. The bezel matches the body color. In my opinion the stick ons look like to much chrome. I have the LT's check out my gallery.

I've done several mod's to my truck, and the LT handles are probably my favorite one! I like the way they look factory (because they are) and really make the truck look better!

You can get the handles from other vendors that come either all painted, buckets painted/handle chrome or all chrome and they stick on. I belive Brite Chrome is the one with them and you can order pre-painted or do it yourself. Pending on the color you may have to get the LT handles painted as well. Both should work just depends on the money available and if you prefer to take the door apart or not.

Ever think about two-tone?

I saw this truck back in 2004 at the KRZ River Run at the Kings River and thought it was pretty nice...

that truck was done before the LT was out, so they modded Escalade handles onto it. Bummer!

As for the main topic, I'm sorry, but the stick-on covers look like absolute crap IMO. Not even remotely close to the quality look of the true MARK LT handles.

Granted, if it works for you and you like that style, cool, awesome, good for you (truly), but I don't think it is right to leave it unsaid that there is a BIG difference between the two.

Is there a way that I can get a LT Handle (driver side) with the keyless entry and no key hole lock. The reason I'm asking is not to long ago I posted a tread about having my truck broken into by breaking the door lock and now I just want to get rid of the key hole all together. The bad part about the LT Handles and the regular factory handles is that the parts that holds the key assembly is made out of plastic. The guy just pushed the keyhole in, broke the plastic area holding the key assembly and the c clamp ring came right off. Sorry to highjack the tread.
