Ollo HID Light Install
Ollo HID Light Install
Possibly Weazel or someone with any HID system. Did you drill into the headlight assembly. Also, where was the power source from? The directions give you no idea as to where to tap into the power, I figure I'm just reading past it.

I was able to install the foglights no trouble, just need to find a place to mount the ballast. Any ideas? Yes it asks you to drill a 25mm (.95 inch) hole into the back of the "Cap" but I believe I can bypass that step as I just installed almost everything.
Any ballast ideas, I have 4 of these bastards to mount lol.

For the foglight ballasts mount them under the headlights theres a little ledge straight under the heads, and for the head light ballasts just drill them to your radiator cover thats how mine are, and no probs for over a year
sounds good about to run out there and check. As for the radiator cover, there is clearance for these enormous things between the hood I'm assuming. They are at least an inch and a half thick.
dont mount them straight on top, mount them on the angled part facing the engine plenty of room and just run the wires under straight to heads
EDIT: Josiah can you explain why you have to drill a hole in the heads? I dont understand what that would do or help???

your guess is as good as mine, I didn't drill it...maybe weazel can chime in on his opinion. I just installed the 9005 on the pass side headlight, however I need to grind down a tab so I can get it in there. I believe this is typical.

Ok, I'm now a little worried. I am pondering ordering a full set of these. Problem is that I am a NOVIST when it comes to these kinds of things. My concern is that I'll pay $340 and not be able to accomplish this.

its not to hard.... trust me the fogs go in easy the heads are just a lil more thinking
Weazel, I came on for what you just said. I am unsure of how to find the ground, did you solder these in there? I need to find an alternative method that is more "waterproof" =] Any sort of electrical glue I could try, soldering isn't my cup of tea. I can find the hot wire in the stock wiring harness, but the ground is going to take some tracing. Was the ground wire the middle wire (that would make it very easy) out of the three holes?
