I would have to say Styleside. The reason is because I of course have dirt bikes. In a pickup bed you can usually fit up to 3. Thats with a styleside/fleetside bed. With a flareside, the footpegs get in the way and that would cause a problem with a flareside bed. The wheel well on the styleside is not a bad thing to be there on a styleside bed.

Plus, I personally don't like flareside beds. I think that the styleside looks better.

so aside from the obvious slightly smaller capacity and the lack of fender extend-a-flares that's about it? Did some one say the bed on the flare side is composite? also has anyone ever seen an aluminum fuel door like the audi TT for the flareside?

Even though I drive a styleside the truck that I wanted was a flareside because when I saw them I loved the modern look to them but unfortunately someone bought it a few hours before I got to the dealership. I still love my styleside though.

I personally love the flareside look.

The only downfall I've experienced with the flareside is there arn't as many options available for toolboxes. Toolboxes for compacts are too small, and ones for fullsizes are too big. I hear a box for a Dakota will fit fine.

Flareside anyday of the week. It gives the truck a sportier look IMO. UWS offers tool boxes for the Flaresides in different styles.

I believe they use composite for the bed outer skin on flaresides to obtain the curves. The sheetmetal wouldn't hold up as thin as it is.

I went with the styleside to get stake pockets. Not sure about the new models but, if there aren't access covers in the bedrail covers then the stake pockets aren't there. You can cut thru the plastic and there are holes where the stake pockets should be but there are no guts in the holes.

Well..
I got FlareSide FX4 RegCab because, in my case, it was the most visual improved/different look as an "upgrade" from the Regcab F150 2001 I got at the moment, also black, so..., if I was to get a new one.., for 28000us!!.. it better be a hell of a lot better and different from the one I had.
Otherwize, it would look almost the same as my 2001 Black RegCab, StyleSide, 4x2, etc.
The new design +04 and FlareSide was the best aproach as an improvement from my 2001RegCab to my 2006RegCab.

I don't care if it fits less stuff.
I haven't had any problem related to FlareSide
I do get a lot of compliments.

BUT..., I'm not sure how a StyleSide version of my truck(RegCab) would look with the mods I have done, so, I'm not sure if I would like it better.
