Could somebody please run a tape measure in the bed of a supercrew with the short bed and tailgate down. Preferrably one with a bedliner. Looking for a real world measurement lenth as opposed to the manufacturer specs with the tailgate up and no bedliner.

its a hair under 8 feet. when i loaded my truck with plywood, i put the gate down and there was maybe an inch hanging over the edge. (that's one of the reasons i settled for the 5.5' bed)

yep, with no liner it's pretty near 7'-11"...i measured when test driving

that's why i had no use for the 6.5' bed either, with the stuff i haul, the tailgate is down on anything under the longbed

 

Excellent. The measurements of my quad are

81.3" x 46.5" x 48.8"

But thats not the wheelbase that inlcudes bumper to bumper length. I just want to make sure it will fit.

 

I've hauled an ATV in the screw with the bed extender which cuts off a few more inches...no worries.
