Talking New to the Group

I just purchased a 2006 F-150 XLT 4x2 SuperCab and the few things I want to do to it is exhaust and fog lights. I want to go dual exhaust and whatever to give it a nice purr and also need to add fog lights (hoping they have existing wires so I just need the switch and bumper and lights) other than that I am going to keep it the same. Would like to know of any ideas on both. Thanks

exhaust would depend, everyone around here has their favorite (flows or magnas) I personally like my 40 series flowmasters. Alot of people around here though are going w/ the magnaflows. Its all in your personal preference as to brand, and how loud you want it. You might check ebay or something for a bumper w/ foglights. idk if there would be any in the classefieds around here. theres lots of great info here!!

Also Welcome to the site!

Wellcome...

I just picked up a Magna Flow exhaust dual out the rear. Cant tell you how it sounds as of yet waiting for the UPS guy to show up with it.

Do a search and you will get a ton of info on the site. A bunch of the guys on here have posted up sound clips of there exhaust that can help you pick..

I personally was going to go with Magnaflow when I get a chance to get a new exhaust, I was going with this one because I have heard that they give the best performance gains. But again its up to you whether you want it really loud or just louder than stock

Welcome to the site.

Oh and on performacepeddler.com you could get a discount on exhaust systems with coupon code forum2p,check it out.

I have the 4.6, maybe the 5.4 doesn't produce the cab drone as much.
