Engine Cleaning

whats the most efficient safe and most throrough way to clean my engine/engine bay.
after mudding it got perty dirty. should i have someone do it for me somewhere? or what?

i usually go to the car wash and spray it with the green engine and tire cleaner. then rinse it off. works great.

i dont believe so. but dont go and hold it on the electrical connectors directly.

If your engine is HOT, leave it running. Otherwise turn it off.

why leave it running if its hot?

Take a chance of cooling the block down too quick if its already hot...keep it running, keep it hot
