On a new vehicle, these can be very important items to pay for.
Good luck.

First off, I'm sorry to hear about your incident and hope the best for you and it turns out!
Now, onto these self-righteous a-holes on here that question the reality of your story or want to berate you for buying a vehicle with some of your inheritence money from your father passing away. It's none of your damned buisness what he does with his money. I'd bet your father's didn't pass away when you were young so don't give this young man crap about making a decision to purchase a fine piece of automotive metal. Sure, when we were young, we drove 20 year old beaters with bald tires, but we also probably grew up with both our parents.
Oh yes, the 2500 mile questioners..... I was 30 when I bought my '04 Screw 4X4 Lariat and I put over 2000 miles on her in the first week alone showing her off to every Chevy, Dodge & Titan Friend I had
.
Why don't we try to give this guy the benefit of the doubt rather than letting the few "Clique's" on this board run him off by posing the "consiparcy theories".

Glad to hear you're ok.
You might want to consider using whatever money you can recover a little more wisely. I think my mom would have whipped my *** if I was still 17 and spent $25,000+ that i inherited from my fathers death on any kinda vehicle!
What kind of truck was it?

Where the hell are you coming from with that comment??? His post was about an accident he had in his truck, not whether or not we should help him spend his money. If your reasoning was applied, just about every post on this board would be subject to speculation on why he or she spends money on anything at all.
I'm not trying to get anyone riled up so let's just get back to the point of the post and give this young man a beer....er,...rootbeer
