So Who Here Uses Mobil1 Full Syn. Ext. Serv.?
#2
I haven't tried the Mobile 1. I use the Castrol Syntech with a K&N oil filter and man what a difference it made, I realy can feel a difference, I didn't think that it would.
A company I used to work for used Mobile 1 in all of their trucks and after about 200,000 miles we had on of the trucks engine rebuilt and the service tech's said that the engine looked like it only had about 100,000 on it.

ETA: I'm doing the 5k intervals now but I'm thinking of starting to change every 3k. I tow an enclosed cargo trailer everyday for work and I've also started running my Troyer tunes a few weeks ago.

its an extended cab.
and i like it for a toyota. its better then what came before it.
in other words it doesnt hurt my eye's to look at it like looking at a Scion does.. but i'd never buy it.
i know fords coming out with something much better in 2009.

if she saw severe service then i'd be putting the Truck/SUV 5w-30 in her.

I had been using Mobil 1 10w30 synthetic, changing the oil every 7,000 miles. I changed the filter & topped off with the same oil after about 3,500 miles. I was afraid to leave the filter on there for the full 7,000 miles, and I don't feel comfortable going much more than 7,000 miles between oil changes.

My 01 Screw had nothing but Mobil 1 in it after the factory installed oil and it ran like a watch until it was totalled at 70,000 miles by an inattentive red light runner. I used either the Mobil 1 or K&N oil filters and changed the oil every 10,000 miles. I have already switched my new truck over and plan on the same service intervals. I run Mobil 1 in everything I have including two motorcycles and my lawnmower. Great stuff!
