Everyone with Fab Tech Lifts!

Help!!!! LOL. I figured that would get your attention to think something was wrong or that I was going to bash fabtech. But not the case.

I am about to order the fabtech lift, but have a question. I am planning on running a Liquid Metal Turbine wheel, 20x8.5 with a 5.45" of backspacing and a 18mm offset. I need to know that the wheel will work. I emailed fabtech and they said they had only ran wheels with 5" or less of backspacing. So they didn't know either way on the 5.45" of backspacing. So I know a lot of you are running fabtech 6" lifts on 4x4 f-150's and was curious what wheel you was running with what backspacing. I was looking at the liquid metals as something differnt then the moto metal 951's.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes they will fit... Due to is being a 20" rim.. The steering knucle is curved allowing larger rims more backspacing..

I called them asking the same thing about my rims and they said not to do it as they are not sure if it will fit or not. I did it anyways and ran 18x8.5" rims with 5.48" BS and they were a perfect fit with 35x12.50x18 tires. I had No rubbing at all and not trimming needed.

Sweet, thanks for the confirmation. I will also be running a 35" tire. But my choice is 35x12.50 Mud Grapplers on the 20's. It's good to know they will fit as Fabtech didn't have the answer.
