F150 or Something Else?

I see Toyota finally released some more on the new Tundra.

http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/minis...ce/index.html#

381 horsepower!!!

I was gonna wait for the new '08 or '09 F150, but that Toyota looks worth checking out. Ford is gonna have to step up.

Never buy a first run model, esp from a company releasing thier first true fullsize truck ever

My bad.

I usually just read the '04 and up forum. I don't have the time to read all the forums and usually never read "general discussion".

Thought this was pretty good info for the new F150 forum since there is a lot of talk of new truck news here.

I like the way it looks from the side and back but that front is awful. Maybe if I saw one with a different grill on, it wouldn't be so bad. It seems to have a descent interior. I just have a problem with buying a jap truck. I love jap cars and have owned several acura's and honda but, when it comes to trucks I think you should leave it to the pros at Ford. Best selling truck for god knows how long. They must be doing something right.

It seems like a good truck except for the flaws that were mentioned in the other thread. Nevertheless as long as I own a truck will always be a FORD!!!!!

Go to Tundrasolutions.com if any 'Yota questions need answers.

Had a 'Yota, nice truck, but I love my 150.

The new Tundra doesnt even have a fully boxed frame...personally I dont think anything will compare to the new F-150 with a 5 or 6-speed tranny and the new Boss 6.2L V8...with 400+ hp.....Ford will come through, I have faith

Really?! This is the first time i've heard about any new f-150 engine and tranny. Do you know where to find any more info on the matter? But I agree I think ford's just waiting to blow everyone else outta the water!!

As a driver of an early model 04 F-150 I concur.
I don't like the front of the Tundra either, looks like a deranged Ram 1500. The side bed view resembles the Titan especially the tail lights.

Topic name changed. Thread will stay as long as it's a comparison type of thread... it starts going down the 'The Tundra is Ugly' path and it'll become General.
