Speaking of Pro Comp kits.....I have a question...
The amount of backspace required for using new wheels.....they say it's up to 5".....so anything OVER 5" won't work? ie: 5.78", 6.18" etc,etc?
Lately I had been thinking of going and getting the basic Pro Comp spacer 6" lift, but the new MM951's I bought (18x9, 5.78" BS) I think won't fit properly, from what I've read.

I ended up using 35x12.50 BFG MT's on wheels w/ a 4.5" BS and I have more than 1" clearance between the tire sidewall and the steering knuckle.
Anything else I can't really confirm, but personally I wouldn't run a wheel with more backspace than 5.25".

Also, in reference to the quality of the ProComp lift. I won't argue that I do believe that the RCD and Fabtech kits are slightly better as far as quality and construction goes.
That said... as I mentioned I do have a ProComp lift and I have beat the hell out of the truck off road. I've ran the truck across chopped dunes at 80+ MPH and have had the front tires off the ground on several occasions. All the bracketry has held up just fine. I would definitely recommend ProComp and for the money you can't beat it. I installed this kit myself and it went on without any problems.
