White Dome Interior lights?
#35
Ok, they all arrived and got them installed. I also received a replacement steering rack, woohoo. Pics will come soon, in about 20 mins. The dome interior lights are awesome, the back dome light is the brightest, but they're similar in brightness levels, almost identical. Look great, no complaints on anything. The license plate LED's look pretty good, but I was hoping they'd be brighter :[ They do the job though and look great, just wish they were a tad brighter. Can you guys post your white license plate LED's so I can compare brightness levels?

I'll try to "shed some light" on how you'll want to go about it.
First off, here are the STOCK bulb numbers
MAP LIGHT = 906
DOME LIGHT = 578 or Festoon 42MM - 44MM (they fit great)
What LED bulbs did I use?
I have tried LOTS of different LEDs, so my struggles will save you if you take the advice.
USE ONLY 1 Watt high power LEDs or higher. Stick with the high power LEDs for the best results.
Here are the pics…
MAP LIGHT = 2X1 Watt high power LEDs

You mention the higher the wattage the better? Is there a reason you didn't get a higher wattage? Have you discovered at one point the LED is to "high", meaning whill it start to distort/melt the plastic?
Also, can these LEDs be purchased at a typical autoparts store?
THANKS in advance!!!!

LED's will NEVER melt the plastic as they put off very very little heat if any compared to a filament style bulb and use WAY less power.
The original bulbs produce more heat.
Josiah, glad you liked everything!
