I did the exact thing yesterday... I've already added a few other lighting effects to my truck (LED's in the center console, blue LED mood lighting, and bed lights) so this should continue the overall effect!

Ordered the same today... I can afford a $30 dollar mod right now.

I just received the V-LED's, quick shipping. Anyways before I go breaking chit to pieces do I remove the plastic surround or clear plastic lense to gain access to the map lights.

nvm, I don't have the patience im gonna tear chit up.

Edit # 2:
Installed, they look fantastic. The light output is classier and a little dimmer but you won't mind much at all.

Did you guys see these lights from that manufacturer? Anyone tried those? I had a set of 24 LED lights for my front signals and they werent bright enough but these are 3 watt.......hmmmmmm

Matt, I just purchased Ollo brand 6000k HID's for the fogs and heads. 9005's in the fogs and H13's in the heads. Have you heard anything of the brand?

Better yet, has anyone tried those for back-up lamp replacements????

DTheobald, I was checking out your gallery, what happend to your flares? Looks like we have the same taste. We both have silver FX4's & silver turn signal bulbs I have a VW too check out my gallery.

I am getting the flares PTM along with the mirrors, handles, bed caps, and bumper valance... I am wating for a quote, because my boyfriend has a guy... I don't care how it looks now, just can't wait for the final outcome...

Every time I see your truck it just looks "different"... do you have anything out of the norm with your truck... like a huge bed, or something... it looks weird... I mean its really nice looking, just looks different than most trucks on here...

I think its cause i'm not used to seeing a reg cab... mostly scab or screw.... but i love you truck... admired the lights for awhile... how you liking the hella headlights?
