Dixie Horn

I just got my Dixie Horn in from JC Whitney and I was wondering if anyone else has this on their truck. I haven't found a good place to mount the horns yet but I'll probably wait until I get my new bumper to put em on.

Haven't hooked it up yet but I talked to a guy that had a General Lee replica and he said this kit sounds more like the original that any other one out there.

You will have to do a sound clip for us... When are you hooking it up?

How much did it cost you?

I can not wait to hear it...

$60 with a free button and wiring kit, and you get free shipping on orders over $75 so I got some badass F150 floormats too and it was only like $5 more than it would've been with just the horn and shipping.

I am gonna try to get it hooked up tomorrow just to see how it sounds but I'll probably wait till I get my new bumper on to mount it since I'm gettin an 07 bumper with the cricle fogs and I don't know how different it's gonna be.

I have one on my truck - love it!!!

I mounted the horns down in the front bumper....just made some cheap l-brackets, and attached them to different existing bolts. Then I put the little air compressor under the passenger side headlight. The space is tight, but you can get it in there.

A year later...

I'm hookin these bad boys up tomorrow. Mounted em on a Lowe's paint stirrer.

Oh and I'm wiring it up so that it will play Dixie when I lock the truck using the keyless entry.

Dukes of Hazzard was around long before that movie ever was thought of! I used to fantasize about Catherine Bach and those damn cut off jeans
