Played around today and truck struggled a bit.

I went up to Payson today to play in the snow and forgot my good camera or i would have some better pics. I am sorry about that. But this is from my camera phone and it is kind of deciving. My truck is at a very steep angle. I am 6'2" and it was a struggle to get back in the the truck.
Anyways I parked on this steep hill, turned off the truck, took a few pics, and climbed in and tried to start it up. It struggled a bit (turned over 4 or 5 times)so I droped it in to neutral rolled down the hill and it started right up first crank.... I had less than 1/4 tank of gas. Could the steep angle and low fuel cause it to not want to start up?? It has never done this before. But I have never turned it off at over a 45 deg angle.

My guess would be the lack of fuel at the pick-up for the pump.

Mine did something similar, shutdown while on very steep incline and gave a low oil pressure light. I thought Id punctured the oil pan for a sec then it came to me it was just the incline, maybe yours detected no oil and as a safety wouldnt start.

Yep, theres nothing wrong with your truck.. Couldnt get the fuel to your engine.. Im not sure if the engine has overrides to prevent you from starting if there is a lack of oil pressure as well, which there probably was due to the very steep incline.

It cuts fuel because it thinks it's rolled over.

It makes sence that it would cut fuel. It kind of sucks though. I want to take my truck to this old Caterpillar test track that has a 1/2 mile long really steep incline. It would be fun to do.

The fuel cutoff is a manual reset switch that is located behind the passenger side kick panel. It takes a pretty good hit to activate this switch. It is designed to disengage the fuel pump in the event of a severe accident. You just need to put more gas in the tank.

Make sure you have a full tank or close and I don't think it'll be a problem.

I think all the fuel was at the rear of the tank and not near the pickup so it shuld be okay
