I have the FX4 grill and I'm thinking about switching to a billet style grill with the hella lights behind it. Does the grille really block alot of light or is it even an issue at all? And I'm curious to know opinions on Hella lights as opposed to other brands.

I'm not trying to highjack your thread!

I have the billet Stull grill which I bought from MOSS and I have the Hella 500 lights mounted behind the grill. I took two pieces of aluminum and cut and bent tabs to mount the lights. I drilled some holes in the crossmember that holds the radiator and mounted my tabs onto that part of the frame and bent them to the correct angle to hold the lights on. I know this probably doesn't make sense, but Ill take pics for you once I get back from the barracks.

I do not have pictures of my truck on the site yet. I'm going to take some pictures now of the hella lights behind the grill and try to get some of the truck too. It's absolutely filthy right now so they will probably look like crud but I will get a gallery going as soon as I can.

Here are a few pictures of the way I mounted mine. As you can see, the tabs I made are mounted by bolting them to the crossmember at the top. Hope this helps

Here's what mine look like. For more detailed photos of the complete installation and the bracket I built to hold them, visit my gallery.
