Lift or Lower? 4x2
So I need some opinions and help deciding what direction I want to take my ford in. Im a Union Electrician in Orange County so I generally use my truck for 70-80 mile daily commute. My truck is a 2 wheel drive 3.73:1LS ive done a few mods but nothing insane so it can still go either way, but if i went up in the air id use the superlift 4.5" because i heard it was one of the smoothest riding lifts on the market, I'm not tied to it by any means so if anyone has any suggestions feel free. If I went down i would only do a 2" drop shackle for the rear and some 24" rims. both setups come out to the same price since the 24"s are so expensive, but being as that im in and out of my truck bed quite a bit im fearful of lifting...any opinions or suggestions are welcome. ive been tossing this around for a few months now and ive exhausted all my own opinions. THANKS!!

I'd say drop it, a nice mellow exhaust (not aggressive since you drive so much), an airintake, and a tuner to top off the performance stuff.
Since you're in Cali., I assume you can't have terribly dark windows, but a nice tint up front might be nice. Maybe the Harley headlights, smoked tails, and maybe LT handles.

Hi WINKTRK,
I live here in OC as well. A small community in Silverado Canyon.
If you are getting in and out of the bed alot, then I would say don't lift it. I have the 4 " Rancho lift (smooth ride) but it is difficult getting anything out of the bed reaching over the side. I stand 6'1'' so you can see it would be difficult for just about anyone.
Good Luck....

My lowered "hoopdie" is 100x nicer and cleaner than your truck fool. Oh, you got some red stuff on your neck....might wanna get it checked.

I have never seen a hoopdie truck. Those are mostly cars, of the 80's domestic variety.
I have seen some nice stock ride height trucks with just the perfect sized rim/tires. They look really good when you nail that perfect fill. Not too big, not too small. Possibly that will suit your need to modify?
