Why would you even lift a 4x2? Seems like a waste of money unless it's a road princess. I don't see why you wouldn't just buy a 4x4?

I would drop it with some shackles.

Right because it "looks" good Man how much money did you put into that lift and wheel/tire pkg? you are never going to see the value out of those parts especially when there designed with the 4x4 enthusiust in mind. But to each is own and your right it is a nice looking truck.

On Topic: You may also want to concider some airbags so you can lower and raise the ride hight as you feel nescesary. A bit more costly but much better when you need some clearance.

So why do they even make 4x2 lift kits....for people like me who want the lifted "look". Paid probably the same amount as a 4x4 lift, and I can sell my truck right now for $10,000 more than what I paid (I had offers).

I always thought a lift lowered resale value.

well..yeah, if you try to trade it in or sell it back to a dealer. That's why people with "heavly modified" vehicles sell to private parties rather than trade it in.

Thanks. Nice truck, by the way.

And I call it a hooptie because lowered trucks, in my opinion, are pieces of crap. You might as well drive an El Camino (a car from the 70s/80s).

So my reference works just fine. And my truck is fine too. It is flawless. And who are you to determine if your truck is better than mine? They're both Ford F-150s, so they're both nice trucks... you just screwed yours up.

I guess it's all a matter of personal preference.

Well...I think EVERYONE on this site has nice rides. There's no need for people to get into the "my truck looks better than yours" crap. I've seen some bad things happen when it gets to that point!

I might not like some appearance modifications people do, but most of the time it surely doesn't make the truck a piece of crap.

And yeah, his truck probably is better than yours just because it is newer. More power, better handling, etc.
safer too
