How do you remove the big panel under the steering wheel, theres a loose nut/screw that I have to get to. Any ideas?

Don't quote me on this, but if I remember right there are 2 small bolts on the bottom of the panel. I think if you take them out, it will just slide out.

Two small screws/bolts but then you have a very strong metal plate that protects your knees in an accident. That has four heavy bolts holding it in. Then you have full access.

The thin plastic panel is very easy to scratch and VERY expensive. The metal plate is cheap and indestructible. When you pull the trim panel set it somewhere safe.

the small bolts are either 7 or 8 mm for the plastic cover
