How to remove AUX12V unit from dash?

Does anyone know how the 12V input (to the right of the radio) can be removed from the dash. I am looking at mounting my sirius radio using the existing hole in the dash that is occuppied by that 12V outlet. I cannot seem to see how it comes out. I thought I would post this before I go and break it trying to get it out.

Thanks

Simply unplug it and release the 2 spring clips from the back side.
pull off the passenger side dash cover and reach through to the plug, once the clips are released pull it out.

Thanks,

I have already removed the glove box for access. I don't remember seeing or feeling any spring clips, but it is hard to see up in there.....I will look again when I get home from work.
