Unhappy 2 wrecks in 2 months...

Well guys, I wrecked the 04 fx4 once again. Damage doesn't look too terribly bad, but all in all it did 4500 dollars damage. The bedside is the only thing a picture will show, but the whole front and passenger side of the truck got all scratched up from bushes. As for the bedside, a d#@n tree jumped right out and hit me haha. Those of you that want to see 285 bfg at's on factory 18's can see it now, although not the best look for my truck at the moment. Here are some pics....

Here is a crappy pic of the whole truck... and yes I know I need to level it.

before you consider spending the money leveling it, I'd consider the money paying the rising insurance if you are claiming all these wrecks.

I slid off the road during our last ice storm and ran through some brush. I woulda been fine but I sideswiped a tree at the very end right before my truck came to a stop. It sucks, but oh well. It'll look good as new by the time it gets fixed.

I claimed both of the wrecks, but I have never made a claim until here recently in all the years i've been driving. It'll go up a little bit, but i'm not worried about money. I just want my truck back to the way it looked before.

Yeah, but if you put multiple claims in a certain period of time it hikes up your insurance and you may get cut lose. I have experience in this, and am just getting my insurance down again, it was wicked high for about a year and a half b/c of two wrecks in 6 months that were my fault.

I had a hard time getting insurance for my wife. She had a couple of claims close together.

Based on your listed profile, that would make at most a grand total of six insured years. Not very much.

Like GreenBuck50 said, multiple claims in a very short time frame could spell "drop kick". Depends on your insurance company. Considering you're years away from even 25yrs old, you might want to look into other alternatives, just in case. You are now what the industry would consider "high risk", especially considering your age.

My two wrecks happened my senior in college when I was about 22. They were in December and May of that year. I got dropped to a high risk part of my insurance company, my premium for the year went up about $2000, and now that I am 26, it just went down to about $850 a year, but I still am on a 6month contract, not yet back to 1 year. Just be careful buddy, and if you can afford it and have not claimed yet, pay for this one on your own. I think you'll be better off in the long run. I've learned from experience.

Oh you're definately right about this insurance stuff, but my dad owns an insurance company so I won't have any problems there
