Correct Backspacing? Which AS kit??

I am going to go with an AS leveling kit. If I go with the 2" will I be able to get the 33's with smaller backspacing?? I am looking at these wheels:

Pro Comp Extreme Black 8089 17 x 9 $138.00 Each

Series 8089
Size: 17 x 9 Bolt Pattern: 6-135
Back Spacing: 4.75 Finish: Black (Gloss) Painted
PXA8089-7936

Sorry no pic, they are on 4wheelparts website. I am just wondering on the backspacing. I know some people don't like the wheels to stick out to far but I do. I can't seem to find many options for black wheels in 17" size. Just want to know if I would have to trim alot to run these and do I need to go with the 2.5" AS or will the 2" work?? I like the idea of the 2" to have less problems.

Hey Josh, with the 2" you will be able to clear 33's. But you will have to do some trimming with the 4.75 backspacing. The most likely spots will be the plastic on the bottom of the front bumper and also the inner fender wells. DJH1121 has some pictures of the trimming that he had to do to clear his 33's with a 2.5" AS, and his wheels should have 4.5" of backspacing, I think. https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?num=11516 Scroll almost all the way to the bottom of the page and you will see the pictures.

if i did the math correctly those rims are gonna stick out 21/4" farther than stock and thats before your 33's...you may want to consider fender flares as those rims/tires are most likely gonna fling rocks and mud on the side of your truck...just a thought

I had considered those. I want to have them stick out a little, I really like that look. I think I am just going to go with the 2.5" AS and go with a wheel with 4.75 or 5 backspacing. Shouldn't have to trim much if any then.

Thanks.
