Seatbelts should be choice

Sorry ya'll but I would be dead twice over had I been wearing a seatbelt so you will never convince me that they are safer as long as you know how to drive!

There are 15 or 20 who would be dead if they hadn't been wearing one for every one who would be alive because they didn't wear it. I spent a ton of years fixing peoples mistakes (wrecks) and I can guarantee you they DO save lives! In a bad roll-over, if you're not wearing a belt your chances go to way less than 50% survival to almost 100% survival if you're wearing one. We used to see hair imbedded in the windshield ALL the time in a moderate to heavy front end collision before seat belts. You virtually never see it with seat belts, not hardly even possible. I've been in accidents BEFORE seat belts and since seat belts and give me seat belts any day. I installed seat belts in my 1st new car before the factory was even installing them and have never been without them. I've seen way too much serious injury and death from not wearing them. Your life, do with it as you wish but don't hid behind the excuse that you'd be better off without them. Just put the "call me stupid" sign on your back and drive on!
