Why do you care about someone else not wearing their seatbelt (not you but the others above).

Because as a Christian I care about everyone, and if a death of another person can be prevented by wearing a seatbelt, that is what I desire.

Aside from what was just posted, there is also the pain factor.

Not your pain......the pain of the family and friends that are left, trying to deal with the loss of someone close to them.

:santa:

That pedal and seat auto adjust. Is that on all models? I haven't read my manual either and can't leave work today to get it. It takes me months to get my seat right again after somebody moves it.

Okay my turn to grip, does anyone still read the owners manual after they buy a new vehicle? I do thus eliminating the need for silly questions like this.
If you have a question about the truck itself chances are its in the owners manual, try looking in it first.

As far as the seatbelt rant, use them! If someone rides in my car without one, I let them know that they will owe me a new windshield when there head puts a nice size hole through it. It usually works otherwise get out!

i dont read the owners manual as i stated before becuase after coming from audis and vdubs...(which dont tell you how to enable disable squat without a vag-com) the manuals are useless....and instead of reading a book i figured i would pose a simple question. eveyone has to go on about the seatbelt thing and it comes down to the fact that no matter what you say everyone is going to either wear it or not wear it. i appreciate the help on figuring out how to disable the dinger.

if you have power memory seats and power adjustable pedals all you do is get the seat where you want it....hit set...then hit unlock on your keyless entry then press either 1 or 2 on the memory seat. when you unlock the door that keyless entry will go to whichever seat you have saved....in otherwords...one keyless entry pad can control your memory seat (#1) and your wifes/gf's keyless entry pad can control her memory seat (#2)...same procedure to program both

I've got the power drivers seat but no memory function that I'm aware of. I guess I'm out of luck. thanks though for the answer.

Couldn't agree more, or when pulling up to the Bank drive thru and needing to unbuckle to get wallet from pocket.

So that is when you use the "one time disable" feature. Simply undo the belt then reinsert and remove quickly. This disables the alert until you either shut off the ignition or rebuckle. For me this is a much better option than a complete disable.
