Also going to put in a yellow top and possibly a bat cap, or i might just end up doing the big 3, havent decided yet.
sounds good... i just built a box for 2 Fi 12's. One question tho, I assume you are not doing the lmi seat lift and downfire box under the seat route right? ... b/c those G5's have a mounting depth of 7-3/8" and difinitely wont fit. Just wanted to make sure by custom box you mean you were going a different route than that. I agree with brian, sell those amps, a friend of mine had a power acoustics amp... i told him not to get it in the first place... and it blew and got extremely hot to the touch even during normal use. I would sell it and buy a different amp, those are nice subs, match them with a nice amp... or two.

post pics of your setup when you complete it... you too bestntx

about the batcaps ... they are more efficient than a cap, but i suggest atleast getting the batcap 400 ... i used to run a batcap 300 and it was helpful, but i should have spent a little more and got the 400 (altho this was back when they were white not like the current black ones, so maybe they have made improvements on them since).
... either way, the Big 3 is a necessity.

I was running a jbl1200.1 (the model before the gto1201.1) I just upgraded to a 2000 watt amp and could sell you my jbl if you wanted. Works flawlessly, it really is a great amp. I have ran jbl1200.1's in my last 2 vehicles as well. I just kept buying that amp b/c it is powerful and reliable. I am in Round Rock (10 minutes north of austin so shipping would be pretty cheap and quick).

I'm in the same boat man. It's just christmas time and im getting the bonus and extra money so i figured hey why not knock some of it out while i've got the spare money.

Rowdy- I have decided to ditch the g5's and run 2 12 idq d2's instead. iirc your amp will do around 1200@2ohms? That sould be just about perfect inless i can find a used zapco 350.2 for a decent price.
