new tint

im gonna put on some new tint as soon as i get out of work today. I Dont know wat percent it is but u cant see anything inside, the one i have on now it turning kinda green, i know what ur thinking its cheap, personally i dont care tint is tint & it still works, and for $40 for a year thats fine with me. my question is; is 35% on the whole front windshield hard to see at night? oh and dont worry about police, they dont even care about tint here in Brownsville, the cop cars have like 5% on there cars that they get from Mexico. haha

$40 a year for tint? Can't you just have somebody do it for about $100 once professionally and it lasts for years? Plus you dont have to drive around with ugly green tint until you are ready to install new tint. To each his own but it sure does not sound too economical.

I wouldn't recommend tint on your windshield for safety reasons...it makes it that much harder to see at night. If you are going to do the windshield, I personally wouldn't go darker than 50%.

Check my pics for 35% on the side windows to give you an idea.

i wouldnt tint your windshield......i have 15% on my windows and a 15% eyebrow on my windhsield and in the morning and at night.....you cant see a damn thing through it period. so even lik 25+ % would be really hard to see out of.
