When do you change the oil on the 4R75E?

i've been going through the Service Maintence Guide and the only time it says to change the tranny oil is at 150,000 miles
it says to change the oil on the torqueshift and 4R100 every 30k miles but for other Tranny's/transaxles it says to simply check the stick untill 150k miles sooo..

My tranny doesn't have any oil in it.

I previously changed my tranny fluid every 20,000 miles and will continue to do so when i hit that mark.

Yeah. The only trannys that still use oil is manual. So his tranny will work with no oil. Actually, it WON'T work with oil because oil is to think for a autobox.

I change mine about 50k. Change the motor oil every 5k and run full synth in it. Seems fine so far.

That is weird. Here's a link to it. http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdi...&menuIndex1=18

Changed link. You'll have to select your vehicle. Then find the appropriate guide.

You do realize ATF is a form of hydraulic oil. Rediculous post.

I think I'm going to do mine at 30,000 just to be on the safe side. I've got a little shudder going from first to secound gear some times and I can't tell if its the transmission or in the rear end. Who knows? I'm not too worried, its not bad at all.

The PCV valve is electronically controlled and heated.
