I'm not sure, but I thought I read on here that the scab doors are 5" longer than the reg/screw doors.

i believe the no's are 43.5" and 50".
what some complain about with the smaller doors it that when you look to ur left, ur looking into the b-pillar. i think ford shoulda stuck with the supercab doors on all 3 versions. i'm assuming they did it on the crewcabs for asthetics.

I like the smaller doors for several reasons.....

Much easier to park, as those big freakin doors ain't hanging way out there......in the parking lot or my garage.

I like being behind the pillar, so no one can see my ugly face. If I want them to see me, I can lean forward a little.

There is a reason people buy 4-door cars/trucks. One of them is the small doors.

The small doors rock.

:santa:

I like the bigger doors of the scabs because I like driving with my my arm on the window and I sit far back in the cab.

Actually, I want to cut up a scab and a screw and use scab front doors with screw rears and make something as big as a dodge mega cab.

Those mega cabs are weird looking, but damn are they big inside.

The scab doors are much more comfortable to rest your arm on.

In the Supercrew because the front door is shorter, this moves the "B" pillar forward and gives the perception of more room in the rear of the cab, or so I've been told. I love my longer Supercab doors. Better visibility to the sides.

There is actually is more room in the back seat of a screw, the cab legnth on a scab is 143.5" and the screw is 148.3"

I thought about the same thing,it would probably be easiest to stretch a screw between the A and B pillars and put some scab doors on.With a 6.5' bed that would give you about a 156" wheelbase.

The wheelbase on my crewcab superduty is 156.2" for a comparison.
