hey, whats up...i have beedn reading alot, and was wondering, does the edge Evo take off the torque management system on these truck, or bring it down a lil. I was wondering becuase with a custom tune done on a SCT Xcal 2 you can adjust it.

Torque management is not one of the adjustable parameters in the EDGE Evo as far as I know. You will have to ask EDGE if they modify that item in the Evolution calibrations.

 

Whats funny is i called them and they had no clue what i was talking about, thats why i figure id give the forums a try! All they had to say was it will give you 35hp and 50tq.....

 

It doesnt take it off. If I put mine in 1st or 2nd you would think you were driving with the ebrake on. I hate that it.

 

so edge just leaves it.....so a custom tune would help with it then!

 

Torque management is one of the PIDs you can set on the display to watch, though.

They should be able to do better than that. How can they write the program, but not know what torque management is? I would say talk to one of the engineers.

If they have a display to monitor it, then...they should know what is being monitored. No logic there at all. Sorry about your luck in getting info. That's just lame.

 

Figured i try the boards and see if any one knew!
