Ya I dont know then but my kit didn't use the metal cage that came with the unit or the plastic trim ring. Here is a link.

Cool. I knew it had to be something easy.
I like it flush because from outside the truck you have to really look to see that it is there.

DVD parking brake feature.

I have heard that you can just splice the pink parking brake wire with the main ground so that it creates the connection as if the parking brake is depressed. Does anyone know if this works

It does on some models but not this one. This unit needs a series of pulses to deactivate the parking brake override. I think that is how most of them are now. I know that the older Jensen models you could just ground that wire but not the new ones.

I know i'm new to the fourm . but i hate to say , it could look better. Also about those jensen they go bad on the touch sceen (if the one you have is a touch sceen). If not all you have to worry about is the motor that moves the sceen up and down go bad .. thats rare but seen them go bad ... just in case you go who is this guy .. well i use to work with circuit city as an installer . ( they sell jensen ) now i work for Best Buy as a Sr. Installer . Agian i'm not putting you down in any type of way just that it could of been flush mounted , but it still looks kool .

I've had a Jensen VM9410 for almost a year now, and I've had NO problems with the motor on the screen. Only problem I had was a bad CD changer, which was fixed under warranty. And on mine, all you have to do is ground the pink wire.

hey guys, great radio that yawl have, im interested in getting this one or the 9020ts but i was wondering if the bluetooth would work. I saw here that many people put bluetooth in their trucks using the factory radio with an extra harness they bought and then used a motorolla or parrot as the bluetooth, will the bluetooth work with this one, Thanks

I know that grounding of the parking brake wire works for the Eclipse AVN-5500....
