Too much gap?

I'm finally gettin the bank to buy my lift, and i'm havin some cold feet. I was plannin on the 4" rancho but i'm not sure if it's gonna be enough(don't want to add a spacer).

But to the point. --- To those with 6" lift and 35" tires - do you ever feel like there is too much fender gap, does it ever look like the tires are too small?

and.... can someone with 6" lift give me a measurement from the ground to the top of the front fender well.

if you want less gap, get 36's or 37;s for your tire

Youve got an Autospring with 35's now. Imagine another 2" and no rubbing and there's your Rancho.....another 4" and no rubbing there's your Fabtech. With 35's on it already you should get a pretty good sense of where you want to go with it. I just put the Rancho on and now I need to wait a month or two for tires. I think it's a great height and it's going to be be perfect for me with 35's. Drivers rear is up because of driveway but another 1" gap on flat surface. Front is perfect for 35's. Goodluck no matter what you get.

there are only about a million trucks out here in cali with 6in lift and 35's....I've probably passed just 30 on the way to the grocery store earlier, I have yet to see one that has looked awkard with 35's...I personally like larger but it by no means looks bad..go for it

from the front, back, and angles look good.. but i really can't get a good profile look in person to see how small they would look.(our fender wells are huge)... plus my tires don't stick no more than an inch and i think that has a lot to do with makin a tire look larger

1st Pic - 4" rancho + 1" spacer - 35" M/T's
2nd - 6" Pro Comp + 2" AAL - 35" M/Ts w/ 20's
3rd - 4" Rancho - 35" M/Ts

Which one do you think looks the best? (if you can tell a difference between 1 and 2)

only difference i really see btween 1 and 2 is that the rear end is higher in number 2 due to the AAL

i think the last looks best, but still needs the 2 inches of lift. i say you go with 6 inch fabtech. or 6" rize

I would go for 6.....for sure...and look at it like this too...sooner or later you will be getting new tires and can step up to 36's if you want...won't have that choice if you get the rancho without further mods.......35's on a 6in lift is pretty much the standard and as i said before..i have yet to see a truck with that set up that looks bad

hey the picture of my truck in my sig, has a 8" CST w/ 35's! i honestly dont think your going to have a big gap.
If you that concern go with the 4.5-6" lift that RCD makes for our trucks, the lift is adjustable.

Here are some with the RCD, on 35's

plus the RCD comes with Bilstien shocks!

ALSO BY THE WAY I HEAR RANCHO DOESNT MAKE A GOOD LIFT! I HEAR EVERY ONE THAT GOES WITH THIS KIT END UPS HAVING BLOWN STRUTS!

go with the 6" 35"s dont look funny at all... Like already stated where i live thats whats on the street. Ive probably seen 5-6 trucks with 6" lift on 35"s just this morning..

if you go with the rancho later down the line you know your going to want more lift...(its a disease).

I got the jack and jacked it up.. to the top of the fender is 44"s. is this about what i'm lookin at if i get the basic fabtech kit?

think it looks funny?

the back is raised about two inches cause i put a good bit of air in the ride-rite bags
