Question Leather re-upholstery....

How much should I expect to pay to have my seat professionally re-upholstered. I have a 2006 f150 Scab with the 40/20/40 front and the 60/40 rear w/o armrest. Any help you can give me would be great. I don't want to walk in blind and get taken. Also I don't have the capability or the time to do this myself. So I want to get it professionally done. Thank you in advance for all the help.

Yeah, I was told $1500+. Then I bought some leather take offs from ebay and asked an upholstery shop how much to put them on and they quoted me $500 just to install what I'd bought plus they'd need the truck for 2 to 3 days I said F it and put them onmyself in about 5 hours.

To the original poster, I know you said you didn't have time but if you can spare one day to do it yourself, it's really pretty easy once you get started. There are some very helpful and informative threads in this forum showing how to do it step by step. I think the ebay leather take offs are going for like $300 these days but that sure beats the heck out of what I was quoted.
