I wouldn't be too worried about that Jeep not being able to pull you out. If it is built as well as you say it is then it should be able to dig into the mud and pull you out. I know that our 4Runner that weighs about 5000# has pulled out many things way heavier than it. We have pulled motorhomes from the mud and sand that weighed at least 15k#. We got our 35k# motorhome stuck a couple of times and it did take a little time to get it out but we were eventually able to. The thing that really makes the differnce is gearing and tires.

Oh, also if you do get stuck you want to be pulled out the way you went in if at all possible so that you can use the same ruts that you made going in to get out.

awesoem thump.

well i was thinking since he has a 16,000 LB superwinch...i think thats his brand....may be mile marker....he could strap me up...then use the winch in a tree and gas it. but i dont know if that is potentially dangerous?

Thers is no problem doing that at all. If you can get more people out there you can also hook like two or three up to you in a line to pull you out.

That would be a last resort, but if it comes to that (which i don't think that it will) just hook the winch up to an anchor point and put the strap on you.

And if the mud in the video is what you will be dealing with then you will have no problems at al. Even i fyou do get stuck the vehicle pulling u out will be on solid ground and should have more than enough bite to pull u out.

anyone know of a spare tire carrier? besides the fabtech??

i wanna build a custom rack system in the back to hold like a hi-lift, 2 spare gas cans, and a shovel.

If you spray armor all on your undercarriage it will help with removing the mud.

Not sure what fabtechs spare tire carrier is, but i always liked this one.

http://www.tiregate.com/

And the vertical one has mounts for a hilift and gas cans.
