Nothing under your hood will work, trans etc. All of your mounts would need to be custom made. None of your factory electroncs has a chance of working. Also, forget about passing any emissions test. If you want a 428CJ in a truck find an old truck and have fun.

You guys it's all speculation. Honestly nobody really knows anything about the 6.2. I've been talking to engine builders lately and nobody knows how Ford is going to do a 6.2 in our engine bay or even a redesigned one.
The problem is the OHC technology Ford went with years ago thinking it'd be more fuel efficient then what Chevy was going to do. Well now Chevy and GM has found you can run these engines at such low RPMs on the highway and also do cylinder deactivation to make up for fuel mileage.
OHC takes a ton of extra room in the engine bay and it's going to be interesting to see how they're going to fit a 6.2 OHC anywhere. Much less if they'll forge a new block for it. I'm betting they're going to have to use the 5.4 3V block we have.
We have to face the fact that our F150s lead in a lot of categories and are great trucks...but they'll never lead in terms of HP or power in stock trim. The OHC just will not put out as much. Not only that as Ford is neck deep in OHC engine technology (even getting eventful enough to put in a 3rdV and 4thV); there is no way they'll drop it for other ventures, especially since they're over their head in debt.
Not Ford bashing here, just stating facts.

As for just pulling the heads off one and slapping them on your 3v motor...well you would need A LOT more than just the head gaskets for sure.
why not buy a cam from comp. they make them for our trucks! much cheaper alternative. the only swap i would consider would be the 4v from the navigators but they are older, or maybe if i could find a wrecked ford gt.
