Most common color I notice on the new body styles. Had to drive to the dealer this morn and there were five new white ones on a hauler comin' in. Neighbors '05 screw is white.

Seriously though, I hear that's some pretty strong stuff.

Man, the white ones are all over in So. Cal. Every fleet buyer gets 'em since they're the easiest to put graphics, phone numbers, etc. on them.

Test drove both a black and a white 06, the black one had an extreamly rough idle. So I snared the white one. Plenty of white ones around here.

White is the commercial work truck color of choice. I'll bet 90% of the standard cab XLs are white.

I initially bought a white '06...until the local "stealership" called me 3 days later and told me they made a "$3600 mistake" on the price of the truck...In their "favor" of course...I gave it back to them and went to a "Reputable" dealership and got a much better truck for a cheaper price....To make a short story long....yes! the F150's do come in white...

and you gave it back on there mistake. I would have told them to unless you didn't want the truck to begin with.

I didn't want to deal with a bunch of crooks....believe it or not....since that episode...I've talked to no less than 10 people who this "stealership" attempted this practice....a friend of mine works at another dealership...a make other than Ford....and she said it's a plot called "Puppydogging"...ie.. if you buy your kids a dog at a pet store...keep it for a day or so...then bring it back for shots...the store tells you there was a "mistake" in the price...and you owe more $$... You and your kids have gotten attatched to the dog and you feel you need to pay the extra amount....I didn't want to be associated with people who deal that way...anyway...I went to a "small town" dealership and got a much better equipped truck for the same amount of $...my gain their loss....

If you have already signed all the paper work which shows the agreed upon price is there really anything they could do?

If I wanted to press the situation...I could have kept the truck...but, again, I didn't want to deal with a jerk....the owner got into the argument and was yelling across the showroom floor and acting like a big a##hole....I didn't want any association with him or his "business"...everytime I see his adds on the tv...I get nauseous....I am much better off
