They arn't 300Ms anymore, that was the last body style.

I test drove a SRT8 300 and it really wasn't that impressive.

To me the chevy ss is just body styling cues.

The SRT-8 and the Trailblazer SS's are both sweet rigs. Those cyclones are pretty slick. All tho i have to say a gen 1 or gen 2 S10 with an LS1 or LS6 is a hell of a good drag truck. fully loaded with cage is still about 400-500 lbs lighter then a comperable 4th gen camaro

The new 6.0L 367 hp Chevy's and GMCs should be pretty fast...Also, isn't Toyota coming out with a 370 hp 07 truck? If you just want "fast". That Toyota is butt ugly to me though...

i believe that if you are looking for a 1/2 ton truck that will be the fastest without braking the bank then it will be the new chevy or gmc with the 6.0 engine. the parts available for mods is endless and a lot of parts swap from the vette and other performance engines. and the tuning available for them is endless. so many performance parts due to it having the ls1 family engine in it.

Agree buts its not actually an LS1 its a 6.0L LS2 based motor. But you can put another aftermarket cam in very easily. Even an 03 5.3 single cab is pretty darn quick and those things will accept LS1 or LS6 cams pretty easily too.

i think the ram srt10 is the fastest hands down with that ridiculous engine in it

i wonder why they even put a bed on it

they should jus seal up the back n make it like the craftsman truck series beds

that is correct. and that is why i put ls1 family in there. that is where the ls2 and ls6 and even the ls7 came from.
