but that is very true, both my mother and father grew up with almost nothing. my mom never got to go to college and my dad lost his father at 22 and he has a twin brother and a younger bro and they all had to take care of eachother and my his mother.

Who is to say thats being spoiled??
Some people spoil their kids with ice cream everyday, or isnt watching too much tv/playing video games being spoiled...

Its all in the eye of who looks upon the situation, because all I see is that a kid needed an automobile to get from place to place ( ie school ), and go where ever else is need..

Is it being spoiled because he got a new truck; if its based on the year of the auto then what if he got a classic older car instead. Or is those who argue just saying it because hes not taking a bus to get from place to place?

I would say get a avic-Z1 but then again thats just what I want but I figured I spoiled myself and just bought a Rebel XTi camera and kit so I will wait a bit

i like the avic z1 and the eclipse im thinking about it...

but im thinking bushwacker fender flares, or a grille or both.

today i was going around a bend and a mud hole was there and went all over the side of my truck cause my tires stick out so much and kick up everything.


i want a grille gaurd or bar of somesort to mount some lights. but i dont want a bull bar or antyhing like the ranchand/warn bumper.

 

I like the bull bars. Since you've got chrome wheels I'd go with a chrome westin, then add some KC daylighters or Hella lights to that bar. On my truck I've got a black one with the black KC lights since I'm an FX4 with DSG lower paint. I haven't paid your pictures that much attention, do you have a tool box?


Yea UGA had it rough against Vandy and KY you've got me there. I bet every tech fan that caught part of that Auburn game had the same expresion on their face, something sort of like this Are you going to the game?

 

Dont worry about it pat. I cant remember who was bashin you and said that no one else was in your situation and no one else's "mommy and daddy" bought them their trucks. My grandparents actually bought me mine. Same deal as you man. I didnt ask for it at all. One day i got out of school and got a call from my grandpa telling me to come pick up my truck. What truck i asked, and he said the one he bought for me. I don't understand why people are bashing you for it. I also worked for him, mowed his yard and did other things for him ever since i can remember. I didn't expect something like this at all. My parents were going to buy me a 98 2 door tahoe. We're both extremely lucky to have something like this happen to us.

Also, the head unit makes a HUGE difference. Both the Avic and the Eclipse are great units you cant go wrong with any one of them. Theres just a few differences between them. I have played around with both of them and they're both easy to use. Theres been alot of threads comparing the two that have been very helpful. Personally i would go with the Eclipse AVN 5495

 

the way i look at it....is if im spending that money....im buying a road armor bumper or a ARB one lol

a few of yall have said move to my interior....but i dont knwo what else id need? i mean....the interior of these trucks are already amazing.

i know i am going to buy the leather wrap for the shifter though.

For what its worth you can get XM for $77 a year right now but you have to call in and request that price. I just extended my 4 for 2 more years at that price.
