condensation on inside windows?

anyone ever get condensation on the inside of your windshield? i got out of work today got in my truck and the window was all condensation on it, i thought it was outside until the wipers did not wipe it off, it was parked for like 9 hours. it has been rainy the last few days but this is the first day i have seen this happen. i checked the rugs for water and they seem very dry. u guys think it is something to worry about or do any of u get this with your trucks? maybe poor ventilation system design?

When I get to work and I park my truck, if the sun is shining and it's warm outside I use the foil sunshade.

When I come out after work and it's now dark and cool, with dew on the outside or even a little rain, the windshield will be wet on the inside.

But, the A/C takes care of it in a few seconds.

I noticed the same problem the other day as well. I have been in the gulf for the last 6 months and never noticed it before i left, however, the other day my wife parked my truck at the end of the pier and when i left the ship there was alot of condensation on the inside of the glass. I just thought it was a window being cracked or not going up all the way as i have had issues with the contacts in the window switches too.

I leave the compressor on all the time

and it takes care of any fogging.

Check realllly well around the rear carpet of the truck. You said it has been raining and I wonder if that 3rd light may have leaked a little and then it evaporates and condenses on the window. Just a thought....

I would bet on the 3rd brake light leak. Or if one of your windows was cracked it will do that. If you smell something sweet it could be a leaky heater core, check your pass side floorboard for anything wet.

I second that. If there is condensation inside, you definately have a leak somewhere.

I had the same situation, found the light on the cab was leaking thu, dripping down behind the back seat and filling the side floor conduits (where the wires are). Alot of rain here in Oregon..

I could actually hear the water running like a stream when I hit the brakes!!! .

I pulled up the covers in the door way and found the wire channels filled with water. BUMMER!! Wet Vac'd it out and used the air compressor to blow some low flow air though there over night in the garage. The last thing you want is mildew in there stinkin' up the truck for life!

All is well now for me. Check that light seal, mine was a little off center.

ok well i just went out side and my truck has not been running since yesterday and no moisture today at all, i think it might have been me tracking water in with my feet getting the floor mat wet and then it evaporating i took the side plastic pieces off on the carpet edge and stuck my hand underneath the carpet and it is bone dry.
