Hey guys...well i took the truck down to the shop today to get it inspected and once again the truck will not pass emissions with the edge evo. It shows 3 out of the 5 codes? He said put some miles on it and it will reset and be fine but that didnt work. I put it back on stock and hope that works. Any suggestions.

 

Im pretty sure that it says right in the manual that the evo is not emissions legal. And then you should have return it to stock to pass smog.

I know i won't even try to smog it with the evo cause when it fails i have to take to a special shop to have the smog redone.

 

I just had mine inspected last thursday with edge evo on level 2. Passed with flying colors....

I put my truck back to stock about a week before the test and didn't have any issues. I "loosely" followed the drive cycle guidelines. Couple trips city driving, couple trips highway, let the truck sit for 10 hrs or so between a few startups, I think there was something about so many miles at 2 or 3 different speeds. All in all it was about 250 miles. Wish I knew exactly how to minimize the whole process as this is gonna suck doing it once a yr. Hopefully some other PA guys will chime in.

 

Had mine inspected in Sept. with edge on level 2 with no problems.
