Maybe a few ponies on a stock vehicle. The throttle response though should be greatly improved.

would i have to get a special tune to compensate for the extra air or should it be fine?

there is an 80mm throttle body available from australia for these motors. check into fitment, but it's for the aussie version if the 5.4 3v.
