The level pre-tuned level 3 with tire size adjusted works fine for me.

your not really ever going to make the 3-4shift at the limit you set, seeing as that would put you well over 100mph (to lazy to figure out the exact speed) but just as a saftey you should set the 3-4 shift down to about 4600-4700.. If you ever did shift 3-4 at over those RPMs you can kiss your overdrive band bye bye..

So what does the pre-tuned level 3 setting that comes with the Edge have it set to shift at?

Should I mess with mine?

shouldn't timing be left at 0 when running tune 3 with 91 octane. If it cant be bumped up let me know. I thought 91 is supposed to be used and anything above that octane is when you move your timing up.

Thanks!!

So are you saying that the only time my truck shifts into 4th gear is when I hit 5000 rpm in 3rd gear? Or how does this work?

Should I change it at all?

You are correct. I was mistaken in thinking Level 3 was set for 89 octane. It is 91. So, if you are running 93, you can sart at +1. Depending on altitude, temp, etc., you may be able to run more or less. You will know if you have pinging to back off.

Actually in the manual it says you can safely add 1.5 with 93 octane... I saw in a few other threads people bumped it up to 3 so I did the same with no sign of any pinging. I think I may try 4 if I'm feeling ballsy one day. lol.
