Where did you guys order the light from?

I ask because I asked one ebay seller if it came with a gasket and they told me it did NOT come with any type of gasket.

Where should I order mine from to insure mine comes with the good gasket?

Thanx in advance...

I bought mine from REVOTEC as well. I am expecting it to show up by Wednesday. I guess it takes the full 7 days to go from Ca. to Va. Anyway, I'll post up some pics when I get mine installed.

Well, I got home today and lo and behold, my light arrived!!! I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the brake light. It looks 1000% better than the OEM one on our trucks. Install was super simple. I'd like to thank RockPick for the write up as I decided to go with this after him getting one and writing a positve review about it. Def. a thumbs up mod!!!

Unfortuneatly, I ran out of daylight when I installed it. I will try to get some pics of it tomorrow and post them. This is a must have for all you guys that are still using the stock light!!

All in all, I think that the LED third is actually a BETTER MADE product than the stock. 10 very bright LEDs grab attention and demand a look when the pedal is tapped. Also, in all honesty, it seems like the cargo light is more focused towards the bed and not as scattered (although, I do have a lid).

I, personally, prefer the red look up there versus that of the clear/white look -- especially on black as the red is more of a 'darker' color and doesn't contrast nearly as much.

On a scale of 1 to 10...

Product 'out of the box' Quality - 10
Ease of Install - 10 (two screws -- how hard is that?)
Look - 9 (not a 10 because I'd like 1 more row of LEDs in there)
Improvement Over Stock (performance) - 8 (it definitely demands attention)
Improvement Over Stock (looks) - 10+

Two huge thumbs up on this one! Thanks for convincing me to pull the trigger!

Btw, here's the original writeup from RP!!!!! Thanks again!!!!!

I'm sure you'll get it anytime now. Took about 7 working days to get mine from Ca. to Va. Please be sure to post your take on it when you do get it!

Thanks to all of you guys for the info. I have gone ahead and purchased the light today and can't wait to recieve it. If you guys don't mind. Could someone that has already installed it please take a daytime picture with the brake lamps on from behind, that would be much appreciated. I am just worried it won't be bright enough in the daytime. Thanks again.

I'm putting my order in tonight. Can't wait to see how this looks with my OEM looking and fully functional LED taillights. (PS. I'll show those pictures in a couple weeks)

Looks like you might have to make more of those tail lights for us F150 online members to buy. I mean, you can't have the only cool looking truck here!

Haha, who wants to be my friend? (J/K)

It depends on how hard it ends up being. I'll do one of three things though.

1. Teach everyone how to do it if it's easy.
2. Create a kit to allow you to plug and play
3. Creat the entire package including the taillights

We'll see what happens in the next two weeks. But I promise there WILL be a solution this time.

Yeah...you could say I'm well known.

But I have some not so great news fellas. My girlfriend of two year has a brother whose brain cancer came back and this time there isn't anything the doctors can do. He's only 24 and they gave him roughly 3 weeks.

Needless to say I probably won't have time during the next month to help you guys out with the LEDs. I'll try but I'll be playing the next month by ear.

Thanks for hanging in there for me.
