It depends on what I am doing. If it is at the strip bracket racing, I usually try to load the converter to about 2500. The truck is far more consistent, but not as fast as smashing the pedal. If going for speed, floor it and hope the pavement is not greasy... Everyday just ease into it.

 

My truck is so fast,

I turn it off
remove the key
hold the key in my left hand so the other driver can see it.

It just wouldn't be fair otherwise.
Plus it really demoralizes them when they lose.
