That sucks you wern't able to make out this weekend. It was pretty crazy out there though. We only went on one ride the whole weekend. The rest of the time was spent at the drag or at the hill in vehicles. There were so many people on the sand highway it was like rush hour traffic on the freeway. I think the best thing that i saw was when two trucks were coming over the same hill and ran into each other. The best parts was that the hill was only like 5 feet tall and you could see over it.

Which bike do you have?
We have a couple of people go with dirt bikes. On has a 450r and the other one has a 250f with a paddle they are able to go anywhere they want.
And i'm down for a desert meet.

Get the 700 FI it kick a$$ Mine is piped chiped and intaked and weighting only 350 I womp on people out there, even stock it kicked ***. My sleeper quad is my DS650 that thing stock was acctualy faster then my 700. But Piped tuned and ported and soon a smaller chain running gear only the NOS or a bada$$ rider can keep up with it. I have pulled 4th gear up comp hill on it, only once though because I had a great start but it was still pretty cool. The weekend of the tenth is my dads friends 50th and I think we are all going to buttercup FYI, anyone else going to be there?

I think that you would do fine with a paddle at glamis, but I think that a quad is way more fun in the sand.

And i like how the sand gives just a little bit.

i use to take my old yz250F with a paddle to glamis.. I could take it everywhere.. Without a paddle you wont make it very far though.. now on my 450F its a different story.. AHH so much more power

But anyways as long as you have a paddle your pretty much set for glamis..

Ya those new raptors are nice you definately see a lot of them in the dunes.
Even if you don't get the quad a superstition trip would be cool, but rockatillo is not my favorite place though.
