Question Those of you with leveling kits I have a question

What I'd like to know is how are those kits holding up over time? I would like to hear from everyone but especially from other '04 owners that have lived with one of these kits for a couple years. Any issues with sagging, noise, or anything else? What kits do you recommend? I've been considering a leveling kit for awhile since I'm tired of my truck always looking like it's moving down a hill. Thanks in advance for the input.

I bought the bilstein shocks about a years ago and have had no issues with them at all. I looked at all the other leveling kits, but for some reason I don't like the word "spacer". I know it's just a mental thing, but spacers just seem like they're asking for alignment problems. Many people have had them for years though, so they must be okay.

No issues with my 2" AS.No noise, rubbing, vibrations, parts wearing out.
It's a cheap mod as far as I'm concerned.Cost was $82.50 plus $40 for an alignment,I installed it myself.Actually I also spent about $15 for sockets,I didn't have a deep 30mm or a deep 18mm socket so I bought those too.

Ive had my 2.5" Autospring leveling kit on for about 6k now and I have had no problems, everything appears to be holding up great. The only thing I might worry about is when I put larger tires on and add more stress to the front end components, but im still reading up on all that around here.

I've had my 2.5" AS on for about 10,000 miles without any problems. I'm taking it out next week though.

Well, my opinion is the truck feels heavier than it used too. Maybe it’s somewhat more top heavy on those skinny stock tires? And doesn’t seem to handle as good as before. Maybe because of the shorter wheel base? I’m hoping the new oversized wheels & tires will help. But It’s still worth doin’ I’ve had no probs. out of mine. It’s one of the best mods for the money you’ll do. Just my .2 tho.

I've had my Daystar kit on for more than 20k. No problems at all and I really like the level look.

Good information. Looks like no matter what kit I go with I can expect few issues, if any. There's a kit that Moss Motors has that is basically an extension of the upper strut mount. Has anyone installed one?

looks very similar to the autospring-type kits (no spring compression needed)- it is a little bit more expensive though

Yeah, then I have to factor shipping and taxes. The Autospring kit is starting to look like a better deal.
